When I look at this sterling spoon ring it breaths a strong sense of heritage. Before the busy life of foreign explorers a simple life was lived out among the tribes of the Indian people. The chief of each tribe taught his people how to connected deeply with nature. A gift that is still taught in many tribes today. The start of this ring has the Indian chief in a large headdress. It is followed by the tools of his ancestors. Each tool having a specific use in honoring the earth. His peace pipe runs down the rest of the ring. Smoked between chiefs as a sign of two communities coming together. A hefty large ring best in a size 9+.

Each piece of silverware Aaron Paul uses dates back between the early 1800’s to mid 1900’s with a majority of the patterns between 1880’s to 1930’s.
My goal as an artist is to not only show the beauty and history of each piece of art but also the beauty of the person that wears this ring. I believe every person has a unique identity. With this identity and skills learned throughout life they can go into the world and shed light into dark places. My hope is that my art will help remind each person how unique they are and how they are one of a kind.
