This spoon was originally created by Payne and Baker and is so popular other spoon artists regularly cast this spoon. To find this spoon in its original condition is extremely rare. This is the original spoon from the early 1900's and is NOT a copy. It was made around 1908 and has a full body mermaid all the way down the shaft. Her tail is combined with a serpent at the end, which traps her in the sea. The serpent is purposely placed by her face so he can whisper into her ear.
